The Wyland Wall

On Saturday January 19, 2013 the artist Wyland came to the Glennwood House of Laguna Beach and worked with 10 of our resident candidates and created an extraordinary mural on the outside of our dining hall. It was an amazing day that was full of memories that the Glennwood House will hold dear to our heart.  We could not be more thankful to Wyland and his Foundation, Coast Hardware of Laguna Beach, Bill Shedd and to all of the artists that helped make this wall look so excellent.

The wall before we started painting that was primed in light blue paint.

It was the perfect example of what the Holidays are all about. Here are some great  pictures of the evening.

Thank you Glennwood House of Laguna Beach Supporters!!!!

THANK YOU SIR ELTON JOHN!!!

So this week on the Glennwood home front we had some AMAZING things happen. First and Foremost we had The Elton John Charitable Fund check for $25,000.00 arrive and be deposited. As you can see by the picture Randy was a little bit excited. :)

Secondly, Thank you to Carolyn and Peter Shea, who have stood behind glennwood from the beginning and this week donated $5,000.00 to Glennwood.  We are so grateful for your dedication and support that you have consistently had towards us.

Thirdly, Betty Sisemore graciously donated $10,000.00 towards Glennwood Housing Foundation. Betty Sisemore is a woman with a heart of Gold and has believed in The Glennwood Housing Foundation even when it was only a dream.

This could not have come at a better time with the holiday season here and the unforeseeable plumbing costs we are so incredibly grateful for all of our supporters. Every dollar that people have donated has shown the Glennwood team how much our family, friends and community, stands behind The Glennwood Housing Foundation. We could not be more thankful for all your support.
